Fundraiser Profile

Join me and change lives in Guatemala

Hello! My name is Sergio Ganchala. I am from Ecuador, but I am currently completing my bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering at the University of Miami.

Growing up in Ecuador, I experienced the different realities of families and schools in areas of different socioeconomic status. I know first-hand what it is like to be in a classroom where there are no comfortable seats, desks or just an organized room where the students can put their main focus in studying and learning the topics discussed. And that is also a reality for many of the schools in Antigua, Guatemala.

This is why, on July 2023, I will be going on a mission trip to Guatemala to help children in underserved communities, A basic need they have is the restoration of the essential equipment and rooms needed for them in a school, so that the least of their concerns is where they will be able to comfortably sit or study and they can get the education them and everyone deserves.

Help me help the children in Guatemala by donating to our mission. I have set a goal of $5,000 and any dollar that you can help with counts, and will do a huge difference for the kids that need this help. Thank you!

I’ve committed to raising $5,000 towards Medical and Impact Missions in Guatemala. With your support we can change lives.
