Fundraiser Profile
Join me and change lives in Guatemala
One year ago, you made a big change, you helped me reach my goal and I was able to help change lives, today, I am reaching back to you for the same proposal, changing lives!
I am a medical doctor, who graduated from Venezuela in 2016, and since I started my medical path, my dream has always been to help those who need it the most. Life changed for me, my country suffered from the biggest diaspora a south American country has suffered from, forcing me to immigrate to the US, and having to put all of my dreams on hold. However, life always finds its way to return you to those places and moments when you were the happiest, and that was the moment when I found this amazing foundation.
Those who know me, know that the real reason I became an MD, comes from that “I need to change people’s lives” thought. Seeing my own people suffering because they are not able to afford health care, wanting to be that bridge between that population and the system, and not being able to, it can be devastating. You don’t decide to be a doctor, this profession chooses you. One way or another, I know I will be the change, the one I want to see in this world because not everything is lost, there are still good people out there, just like you, who want to see it too.
I’ve been able to help many people and YOU have been a huge part of this!
Last year we fell in love with Guatemala, their appreciation and love have changed every single one of us. This year we will be back, and we will continue to provide a quality of life to those who can’t have it for lack of resources. With YOUR help, we can continue to change the world one mission at a time.
One dollar can make a huge difference in someone’s life, the coffee you pay for and enjoy every day can give a patient a new opportunity to live.
Together we can bring back hope to those who lost it, together we are better, together we are the change!
I’ve committed to raising $10,000 towards Medical and Impact Missions in Guatemala. With your support we can change lives.
Medical and Impact Missions are 100% funded by donations from supporters like you. We commit to communities with little to no access to medical care, and bring all supplies needed to perform a wide array of medical services.
Your donation is…
- Providing clinical and surgical services, at no cost, to those living in extreme poverty in Guatemala
- Arranging and paying for transportation for patients living in remote villages
- Providing local language experts to eliminate language as a barrier to care
- Securing lodging for patients in the city during treatment and post op care
- Refreshing a school with onsite community works
- Increasing access to educational opportunities for children
