Hello family and friends as many of you know my passion has always been to help those in need. Volunteer work has been my way of helping since I was young.I took a path to be in the medical field to help those in need. I take pride now in my career and job as a surgical first assist and NAEMT. Knowledge is power, I take advantage of any medically related work I can obtain, as the years go by I love my career more and more.
Born and raised from a Guatemalan mother has thought me that many of us have “a lot” when we think we have a “little bit”. I was given the opportunity to travel to the beautiful country my mother was born, and for the 2nd year in a row, I will be traveling along with an incredible medical team. We will be helping over 50 people who are in need of surgeries due to tumors and other facial deformities, but are not able to get the medical treatment due to poverty. There are many people waiting to get this medical attention adults, kids and elderly. My goal is to raise money to help gather the supplies, medication and equipment needed to perform these surgeries.
One step at a time we can ALL contribute to giving a helping hand to another human being. It is with great pleasure that for my 2nd year I will take part in making more life’s better. Medical missions are life changing. A little can go a long way, donate share or like my post to help me, help those in need.

- Over 20 languages are spoken making access to care difficult
