Fundraiser Profile
Join me and change lives in Antigua
Hello Everyone! My name is Sarah Baker and I will be traveling to Guatemala with the Osborne Head and Neck Foundation. I am currently an ICU nurse and am striving to become a CRNA. When I started working as a nurse in the operating room, I knew that was my home. I knew that I wanted to be the one at the head of the bed, ensuring patient safety and wellness. I know that this mission is a once-in-a-lifetime experience, providing me the opportunity to change many lives, in a short time!
My passion is making people feel better. I am looking forward to being able to take any amount of pain, stress, fear, anxiety, and unease away from patients. Joining a team that shares the same passion for holistic patient care, I know that we are being given the chance to touch many lives. With your donations, we can help change lives together.
I’ve committed to raising $3,000 towards Medical and Impact Missions in Guatemala. With your support we can change lives.
Medical and Impact Missions are 100% funded by donations from supporters like you. We commit to communities with little to no access to medical care, and bring all supplies needed to perform a wide array of medical services.
Your donation is…
- Providing clinical and surgical services, at no cost, to those living in extreme poverty in Guatemala
- Arranging and paying for transportation for patients living in remote villages
- Providing local language experts to eliminate language as a barrier to care
- Securing lodging for patients in the city during treatment and post op care
- Refreshing a school with onsite community works
- Increasing access to educational opportunities for children
