Fundraiser Profile

Join Me And Change Lives In Guatemala

My name is Michele Benjamin and my daughter, Deja, participated in the Osborne Head and Neck Foundation Medical Academy program in the summer of 2022. My passion towards helping others motivated me to participate in the LA BIG 5K on 3/18 in support of families in need of medical care in Guatemala. I am traveling this summer with the foundation to Antigua, Guatemala to work with the local orphanage and schools to complete projects that assist children in need.

I am an educator who has been teaching college for 19 years in the Child, Family, and Education department at a local community college. Education and health care are two vital aspects of human development. I believe that every student around the world deserves the right to learn and receive health care. With your support, we can provide children in Guatemala life changing services and materials to help reduce poverty.

Thank you for your support!
