Join Me And Change Lives In Ghana
This mission is important to me for several reasons, one being my internal fulfillment to test and strain my abilities, not just as a tech, but as an important key member of the team. I must become well-rounded and comfortable with being put in uncomfortable situations. There is no growth in stagnant environments.
When Dr Osborne interviewed me, he mentioned he has a mission to do extraordinary things around the world, and he needs extraordinary people to fulfill this vision. It is time to step up. The other aspect to this mission comes down to my willingness to help those in need. It does not matter what the situation is, I have helped people in car crashes 50 miles away at midnight in a forest, I have helped my classmates pass classes because I don’t want them to fail after so much hard work, people on the street ask me for help and I am there.
I always find myself helping people, and I think it’s my calling to be part of a team that helps those who are truly in need in another country. We have it easy in the States, and I always say to myself, there are people in worse conditions than mine who would kill for an ounce of what we take for granted.

- Low spatial access to physicians and health facilities: Long travel distances for many to reach care.
- Inadequate distribution of health personnel: A significant disparity exists between urban and rural areas, with the majority of health personnel concentrated in urban centers.
