Through our annual Medical Mission we connect expert volunteer surgeons with those suffering in remote areas of developing nations. Past missions have included Ethiopia, India and Peru.

Join me and change lives in Guatemala
Born and raised in Santa Monica, California, Carolina grew up with a wild imagination and extremely visual gift of oral storytelling. She decided to take her skill of scaring kids with haunting tales at Halloween to New York City where she attended New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts.
Since graduating in December 2014, she has been an assistant camera, gaffer, and director of photography for many features, commercials, new media, and shorts. After living in New York City for five years, she moved back home to Los Angeles, CA where she currently resides and works as a camera operator and director of photography.
Motivation: After years of working in the film industry and feeling brunt out at times, I’ve made it my own personal mission to start working on projects that give back in some way. As a Latina I believe it is important to showcase the Latino community and uplift their stories to wide range of audiences. Filmmaking can be powerful in the way it spreads knowledge through an immersive and visual medium and I want to be a part of that. I see much of my own mission in this mission trip and am honored to give my time and services to spread and bring about change to the people of Antigua, Guatemala.

Medical and Impact Missions are 100% funded by donations from supporters like you. We commit to communities with little to no access to medical care, and bring all supplies needed to perform a wide array of medical services.

- Arranging and paying for transportation for patients living in remote villages
- Providing local language experts to eliminate language as a barrier to care
- Securing lodging for patients in the city during treatment and post op care

- Patients are often asked to bring medical supplies, hospitals do not have budgets to cover basic needs
- Over 20 languages are spoken making access to care difficult
