Join Me And Change Lives In Ghana
Hi! I’m excited to share that I’m joining the OHNI Foundation this year for the medical mission in Ghana!
It’s a blessing to be part of such a meaningful project where we’ll be working every day to coordinate care, provide life-changing surgical procedures, and support a local orphanage.
During my last medical mission in Guatemala, I had the privilege of meeting all our patients on day one. I listened to their concerns and heard the many reasons why they traveled far and wide in search of help. For many, that week was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to receive the care they had been hoping for.
I was surrounded by medical professionals and kind-hearted individuals who were all there for one reason — to make a positive impact. The long days were worth it when we saw the smiles on our patients’ faces at the end.
In the middle of our busy lives, it’s easy to get caught up in daily routines and lose sight of what really matters. This mission gives me a chance to step back and be part of something greater — to use my skills in service to others and make a real difference.

- Cost: High transportation costs and drug expenses
- Low spatial access to physicians and health facilities: Long travel distances for many to reach care.
- Inadequate distribution of health personnel: A significant disparity exists between urban and rural areas, with the majority of health personnel concentrated in urban centers.
