Fundraiser Profile
Join Me And Change Lives In Ghana
My name is Kian Darvish, and I am from Los Angeles and a graduate from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Growing up, I have always been exposed to medicine through my family. While I did not know much about its impact when I was young, I soon realized how important it is in the lives of others. Being around physicians showed me ways I could make the world a better place, one person at a time.

Watching my uncle, Dr. Nazarian, take part in medical missions fascinated me and pushed me to follow in his footsteps. Watching the recap videos and hearing his stories inspired me to use my gift of privilege to help those less fortunate than me. This led me to working with physicians in the operating room and clinics. The joy and sense of accomplishment I received from being to help the patients in any way was unmatched.

As a part of the team in Antigua, Guatemala in 2023 I gained more firsthand experience of how we were able to serve entire communities. The reception we received from the children and families we were able to help warmed my heart and made me grateful for the opportunity I was given.

Having the chance to go on a second medical mission has provided me with another opportunity to help people. Any donations are welcome to help us cover the expenses of the mission and provide the care that the people in Ghana deserve. Thank you for your help!
