Join Me And Change Lives In Ghana
In March 2022 and July 2023, I was given the incredible opportunity to travel with the Osborne Head and Neck Foundation to Guatemala for their Medical and Impact Missions. It was a life-changing experience. In a collective three weeks, I was exposed to many harsh realities than the life I live here in the United States.
These trips have shown me how much help is needed by people around the world with very little or no access to medical care. I was not only able to observe life changing surgeries, but also got to know the patients and their stories.
This October, I will be traveling with the Osborne Head and Neck Foundation’s physicians and other volunteers to Ghana for another Medical and Impact Mission! Our goal is to provide individuals with the medical treatments they need, while helping to renovate an orphanage. Please join me in making a difference by contributing to this life-changing mission. - Low spatial access to physicians and health facilities: Long travel distances for many to reach care.
- Inadequate distribution of health personnel: A significant disparity exists between urban and rural areas, with the majority of health personnel concentrated in urban centers.
