Fundraiser Profile
Join Me And Change Lives In Ghana
As we barrel towards this year’s mission, I foresee this year’s project at the orphanage in Ghana being the most challenging we have ever tackled. The Impact Missions have grown in difficulty and influence as we continue to add more team members and work on projects further out of our comfort zone. Once again, I am grateful that the foundation trusts and believes that I can lead the Impact Team. Being in this role is the greatest accomplishment in my adult life and I dedicate all my physical and mental faculties to producing the best outcome for the orphanage and all the volunteers that join us.

This will be my sixth humanitarian mission I have been a part of and one common thread between all of them is the way the members of these communities look out for one another. The people within these communities see the areas that they can help their neighbor and step in with a helping hand time after time. It is hard not to feel the overwhelming spirit of selflessness around me when I am on these missions. It is a hooking feeling that keeps me coming back on these trips each year.

Through my volunteer experiences, I have learned that just because someone can use the help does not mean they are helpless. I view these missions as attempts to lighten the load where we can for communities that have been carrying it without outside assistance for too long. They serve as a reminder that there are people outside of their community who would like to help and can make an impact that stretches beyond the completion of the physical work.
We can continue having these missions through the giving nature of so many donors who contribute what they can. We hope you can get help us impact the lives of the people of Ghana through getting involved in this year’s efforts! Thank you so much!
