Join me and change lives in Guatemala

Hello! My name is Noelia and this will be my 4th Medical Mission with the Osborne Head and Neck Foundation. The reason I make this yearly trip a priority is because I believe making a little difference at a time will make a big difference over time.

Here I am with one of our youngest patients. If there’s a baby, I’m holding them.

As a mother of 3 young kids, I want to raise them to be empathetic, respectful of other cultures, and most of all, I want them to grow up knowing that giving back is part of what we do and who we are as people.

This coming July, we are going on a Medical Mission to Antigua, Guatemala, to help families in need. During our time there we will be running a Medical Mission and an Impact Mission simultaneously. Two teams will work tirelessly to provide surgical and medical care as well as improve the conditions of a rural school.

This is my dad, he joined the team for the Medical and Impact Mission to Peru in 2021.

The most challenging part of the mission is knowing that the help we can provide is limited, and even though I personally struggle with this concept a lot, it is also why I’m dedicated to be a part of it.

Hogar Shalom students, the school we visited and renovated in Guatemala in 2022.

Please know that when you make a donation to my fundraiser, your efforts go towards the Medical and Impact Missions scheduled to take place from July 8th to July 15th, 2023. I will be reaching out to those closest to me to give them the opportunity to be a part of something that’s bigger than all of us.

Medical Mission 2016 – On our last day there, we played soccer with the kids from the orphanage we visited and sponsored.

Please show you support in any way you can and help me spread the word about the wonderful work our physicians and volunteers do.

Having your support means the world to me and I look forward to sharing this next journey with you.

Much love,
Noelia
